This activity helps children learn to empathise with the needs of animals, including working animals like galgos, whose needs are very similar to our own needs. Children discuss, draw, write and act their ideas as they explore what it means to be kind. Available in English and Spanish. Age group: 7-9 years old Time required: 45-60 minutes You will need: A4 paper, pens or pencils, space to sit and discuss or role-play classroom blackboard or whiteboard.
